The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet

I was suggested this book by a few people, and wasn’t sure about it because it was listed very high on books recommended by the LGBTQ+ community. I have nothing against the community, but being a straight man I wasn’t sure how a work like that would sit with me.

When I broke open the book, it seemed like I blinked and 120 pages FLEW by! The storyline is absolutely flawless and the crew of the Wayfarer feel like they are a part of your family. Normally I enjoy action packed sci-fi like The Expanse, which in this novel you get precious little of except for the Quelin boarding the Wayfarer and knocking out the captain. Even with the lack of action, the story is so well constructed that you don’t even notice it.

May be one of the best books I have ever read.
